Communication planning agency Media Edge CIA approached us on behalf of their client tyre manufacturer Michelin towards the end of 2006, to assess the value of converting their truck fleet into a dynamic media platform.
A full audit of the fleet was carried out and a media cost comparison against other traditional paid for media was performed. It was decided that using the Traxx system on the entire fleet would be a cost effective way of strengthening the Michelin brand and getting the message across to Michelin's target market.
Michelin's latest creative is for an Energy Saver Tyre. The campaign is being promoted nationwide on a fleet of 45 vehicles and runs in conjunction with paid for outdoor media channels including 6 sheets, 48 sheets and Petrol Nozzles. So it was easy to achieve complete integration of media and vehicles using Traxx that Michelin and their communication agency Media Edge CIA required.
